Everything is a lesson.

Lesson #1 through infinity:

You will never have a greater opportunity to learn to love your enemy
than when your enemy is your own red blood

So many smiles and so much happiness on this day. Right around this time, on this day two years ago I made the hardest phone call of my entire life: I called my mom and for the first time outloud I uttered the words “I think I might have an eating disorder…” From that moment on I started the most insane journey of my entire life — something that I regretted immediately two years ago but that I couldn’t be more thankful for today. Today is full of celebratory smiles, desserts, selfies (duh), and so much more! I’m so proud of how hard I have worked my ass off these past two years and where it brought me today, from rock bottom to the best place in my recovery (and life) that I have ever been. I am so thankful for so many things today that I can’t even begin to put it all into words. It’s just a very happy day. ☺️💪 #recovery #EDrecovery #celebration (at recovery💪👊💜)
